AXL ROSE; MY FAVORITE SINGER
W. Axl Rose[1] (born William Bruce Rose, Jr. on February 6, 1962 in Lafayette, Indiana)[2] is an American musician, and the lead vocalist of hard rock band Guns N' Roses.
As the lead singer for Guns N' Roses, Rose enjoyed tremendous success, recognition, record and concert ticket sales in the late 1980s and early 1990s before dropping out of the public eye for several years. In 2001, he resurfaced with a new line-up of Guns N' Roses, and has since played periodic concert tours, finally releasing the long delayed album Chinese Democracy in 2008. This album was actually recorded over many years before finally being released.
The only original member still part of the band's line-up, Rose still places high in numerous polls as one of hard rock's all-time greatest frontmen, but is also infamous for his on stage antics and high-profile disputes with former band mates and others in the entertainment business
He was ranked 11 in the Hit Parader's Top Metal Vocalist of All Time [3] and 64 in Rolling Stone's 100 Greatest Singers of All Time.[4]

Slash Comments On Axl's Lawsuit Against Former Manager
FROM WWW.GNRDAILY.COM
VERY INTERESTING ARTICLE:
Former Guns N' Roses guitarist Slash has commented on the countersuit filed by his former GN'R bandmate, Axl Rose, against the singer's former manager, Irving Azoff, claiming that Azoff tried to bully Rose into doing a reunion tour with the original Guns lineup.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Rose claims in his suit that Azoff did everything he could to sabotage the current version of Guns after Rose said no to the reunion idea last year, alleging that Azoff tried "devising and implementing a secret plan to set up Rose and the band for failure so that Rose would have no choice but to reunite with the original Guns N' Roses members."
Rose's suit adds, "Upon realizing that he couldn't bully Rose and accomplish his scheme, Azoff resigned and abandoned Guns N' Roses on the eve of a major tour, filing suit for commissions he didn't earn and had no right to receive."
The claim also added that Azoff, in his own lawsuit, deliberately used Rose's real name, William Bailey, because it "carries significant emotional damage from Rose's childhood."
Speaking to VH1 Radio Networks' Dave Basner, Slash stated about Rose's countersuit, "I don't even know what that's about. I don't know where Axl is coming from. I mean, I know where Irving is coming from — he's looking for commissions for a tour that he booked. [It's a] pretty reasonable kind of thing. Axl's countersuing, so I'm not sure exactly what the merit is that he's countersuing, exactly. Anyways, I don't keep up with that, I don't follow it."
Rose is suing Azoff for at least $5 million, claiming breach of fiduciary duty, constructive fraud and breach of contract.
Azoff issued a statement in which he said, "On advice of counsel I cannot respond at this time, but will discuss in my upcoming book, 'My Life with William Bill Bailey'."
Rose was sued in March for nearly $2 million in unpaid commissions by Azoff's Frontline Management.
Azoff, considered one of the most powerful men in music, has managed the careers of artists such as the Eagles and Van Halen, and at one point handled the affairs of Slash and two more of Rose's former Guns bandmates in Velvet Revolver.

Axl Rose's Top Five Conspiracy Theories by eonline
Just because you're paranoid doesn't mean they're not out to get you.
Conspiracy Corner, Comic Con 2009 Brick
That reminder comes as we enter the mind of Axl Rose, courtesy of a $5 million lawsuit the Guns N' Roses frontman filed against his former manager Monday in Los Angeles.
The 28-page complaint, slightly shorter than one of Rose's tweets, takes on psychological warfare, and a whole lot more. Here are the highlights:
1. The ex-manager had a twisted plan with an Eddie Van Halen twist: According to Rose, music-heavyweight Irving Azoff wooed Guns N' Roses with talk of a mega-tour with Van Halen because he, Azoff, wanted to crush Guns N' Roses.
2. The powers-that-be were all about seeing Slash play in GNR again: Rose accuses Azoff and his firm, Front Line Management of plotting GNR's demise in order to "force" Rose to reunite with his old bandmates. (Rose is GNR's lone member from its "Sweet Child O' Mine" heyday.) Rose, if it wasn't already clear, "was adamantly opposed to the reunion tour." And that's why he claims Azoff was out to get him.
3. Chinese Democracy was "sabatog[ed]": Per Rose, Azoff and cohorts purposely botched everything from the liner notes on the band's 2009 album to its exclusive sales deal with Best Buy. Rose thinks Azoff leaked tracks, too, thereby damaging sales of the previously leaked platinum-seller.
4. The world tour was "sabatog[ed]": According to the suit, Azoff "mishandled Guns N' Roses tour dates in Asia, Canada and South America," and then "abandoned" the band before it hit the road late last year. Rose thinks Azoff "lied" about the never-was tour with Van Halen, too.
5. There are no coincidences. Or idly dropped names: Rose's court action is a countersuit to a complaint filed by Azoff in March. In Azoff's suit, which seeks nearly $2 million in allegedly owed fees, Rose is I.D.'d as "William Bill Bailey." In Rose's suit, the singer calls Bailey his adopted name (by way of his stepfather) that Azoff "knew…carries significant emotional damage from Rose's childhood."
Azoff attorney Howard King did not return a message seeking comment. To the Hollywood Reporter, the lawyer invoked the memory of J.F.K., remarking, "He didn't accuse Irving of being on the grassy knoll in Dallas on November 22, 1963?"
